Welcome (or welcome back!) to the first and only Lindy hop Marathon that takes place in Turin and is in its third edition!

Once again this year, the only Lindy hop Marathon will be held entirely in the magnificent hall of the ASD Fort, Turin.

Il Fortino

Il Fortino is a beautiful space in the heart of the city, a few steps from the center and from the typical and renowned market of Porta Palazzo (the largest open market in Europe for fruit and vegetables and food and wine) and from the Balon (famous for its antiques and its vintage items).

The room where we will dance

A 700 square metre space with windows overlooking the river, very bright during the day, with over 500 square metre of wooden parquet floor to ensure all dancers a comfortable and unforgettable dance experience!

Salon redevelopment

The transformation of the Fort Hall is the latest titanic feat of La Bicicleta ASD, organizers of the Turin Lindy Hop Marathon.

The project began in its bureaucratic parts in late April 2016 and consisted of the rehabilitation of an underutilized indoor bocce court, given the small number and advanced age of players.

Renovation and maintenance work began on July 11, 2016, and just two months later, on September 17, 2016, the inaugural event was done thanks to the tireless work of more than 60 tango and swing dancing volunteer members.

Thanks to fundraising and generous loans from members, more than 100 thousand euros were invested in modernizing, soundproofing, securing and repaving the facility.

All of this in over 22,000 hours of work done by volunteer members, who still today periodically take care of the sports facility that hosts sports activities and events every day, lindy hop courses, recreational activities and cultural events!
